T.O.D Youth Camp 2011 (Game Time)

14th - 17th December... There's where the story of God begins.


Lets start with my group member, knowing that I am the group leader, definitely there'll be lots of fun.

Here's my group member, Michelle (Assistant Leader), Amanda (Adviser), Daniel Chai, Daniel Lim, Ruben, Shereen, June and Ivan Oon. P/S: I love every single one of you!!!


Here's the other group:
Pink - Mere Dis *something* 
Blue - Bluber Fever
Yellow - McLovers
Red - Chi Hua Hua 
Purple - Barney Cat


We arrived Fraser Hills at around 1p.m., had lunch, and we're ready to have our first group project!!!
and we have to come out with our group name, flags (scarf, bandanna, etc), and a group cheer. 
After suggesting so many 'awesome' names, we've finally made the decision to called ourselves the Beautiful Broccoli (Beau Broc). Hahahhahahaha. I know it's funny, but who cares, that's the point!!!


Here's our group cheer, there's 2:

On the first day, we had our very first game time already! (Anyways, a big clap to God and the committees for making this an awesome camp!) 
Every game has a theme of love, though I couldn't remember what it is. But, we had fun together as a team! 
and on the first day, we scored the highest!!! "Yay!!!" 


On the second day of game time, LOL, Broccoli got owned!!! We're being ganged at most of the games. 
Because you know why? 
We accumulate the most score on the first day, so I guess the rest of the team doesn't like the fact we won yesterday. Hahahhaha. Therefore, pink, red, blue and purple decided to team up and gang on us... :(


Second day water balloon game play:
1 victim blind fold in the middle of the ring
2+ defended in the middle of the ring
2+ attacker out of the ring
It's a 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 kinda thing, and now it became 4 vs 1(Broccoli) vs 1(McLovers)


Kesian wehhhhh... So obvious that Blue team went and make allies with them and leaving the Brocs all alone. I, being the group leader wanted to make allied with red team, but failed. 
They just love aiming us because we're too awesome!!! haahhahahahahaha.


Although we might be the most least score on the second day, we didn't really care much, because we know we're definitely kicking asses on the next day. 


Third day and last day of game time, by our own knowledge of winning, we know we scored the highest! :)
Then we were in Tug of War, guess what!?
Green vs Blue, and Green won!!! They ain't strong, they needed allies to defeat us! :P
Hahahahahhaha, the Brocs feel so good for defeating them in Tug of War.


Then at night, we had Musical. 
Long story short:
1st place - Green
2nd place - Yellow
3rd place -  Pink
4th place - Blue
5th place - Red
6th place - Purple


Yay!! Green got 1st place in Musical. Boo on Blue team again because they named one of their character as Broccoli and his character is not something good.
Hahahahhahaa... Too bad Bluber. =P


THEN.... the last day,
they announce whose the winner, and nope... we didn't get 1st place this time. BUT! As long we have won the Blue team, we're frigging happy already!



1st place - Yellow
2nd place - Green
3rd place -  Blue
4th place - Pink
5th place - Purple
6th place - Red

Being a friend ain't easy, I myself perhaps don't and won't act like one. But should I say this is reality? Or should I (WWJD) What would Jesus do.


God, help me please. I need answers.  

Birthday?

The question is, why do we even celebrate birthdays? 

This thought has been lingering on mind because my birthday is coming, yet I don't feel the excitement about it. But seriously, how can I be so naive to forget that on the 12th of December, 1991 my mom gave birth to me. 

Isn't that something we should be happy about? 

In fact, we should be thanking our MOM for spending hours of tears and pain to deliver you into this world instead of bragging to others that it's your birthday.

"SO WHAT?"

So for my coming birthday, I hope to have enough cash to take my mom out for dinner. Just her and I.

God also have plans for us, from the day we were BORN till the day we DIE. And as we grow older, God has even more wondrous things that have set upon our lives. 

David and I had a conversation about celebrating birthdays. We were discussing what's the big deal about birthdays. Haha, know that I've figured that out, and therefore this post is made.
